DEMF 2008 Detroit Michigan

Detroit during DEMF weekend is like a surreal city torn from the pages of a fictional book that only exists in the hearts of dead poets. This city reflects the changing times that left it in the booming industrial era of early last century. At the heart of any place there are good people and bad, and most of the news from this city comes from the negative reports of violence on the news or a statistic comparing the level of violence with some cities in Iraq. But for one weekend at the end of May, the birthplace of techno comes alive as fans of electronic music make the pilgrimage back to the city that gave us dance music and parties that last for days. Here is how to embed any of your albums as a flash slideshow in your Myspace, Livejournal, or website that accepts the <embed> tag for flash!

First, go to your album that you wish to have displayed as a random slideshow. In the sidebar, you will see:

I chose my downtown Phoenix Album. When you click this, in the title bar it will show /srss/35490 for my album, and a number specific to yours. This number is all  you need to identify which album you want to be displayed.Use that number to replace the 35490 in the following HTML with the number that corresponds with yours:

GREEN: Default Photo Color
ORANGE: CLUB
PURPLE: RAVE
RED: Default Group Color
YELLOW: Default Album Color
WHITE: Adventure
GRAY: Vacation
BLUE: Family
AQUA: To Be Decided
BLACK: To Be Decided

All you have to do is go to “Edit album” or “Edit picture” and there is now a Google Map section where you can look up the GPS coordinates by Address or by using a map that will help you find where the party was!
